Bridging Research, Practice, and the Realities of Difficult Work

For nearly 20 years, my work as a clinical psychologist has spanned psychotherapy, research, teaching, speaking, and organizational consultation. These experiences continually inform one another, connecting individual experiences with the challenges that emerge across teams, professions, and systems.

Throughout my career, I've been especially interested in the personal costs of doing work that matters deeply, particularly when it involves difficult decisions, exposure to suffering, or competing responsibilities. One question continues to guide me: How do people sustain difficult, meaningful work without losing connection to themselves, their values, or the people around them?

I aim to translate insights from research and clinical practice into thoughtful, collaborative approaches that reflect the realities people and organizations face.
